OBJECTIVES

  • Deliver leadership training centered on recovery values to foster a trauma-informed workplace culture.

  • Offer recovery-informed workplace training to both employers and employees.

  • Promote the identification of peer recovery champions within the organization and establish peer support groups dedicated to assisting recovering employees.

  • Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the financial impact related to the loss of time, retraining, and supportive benefits arising from mental health issues.

  • Create a structured return-to-duty process tailored for highly safety-sensitive roles within the organization.

  • Implement specific signals, such as distinct indicators like hard hat stickers, to signify recovery-friendly and barrier-free workplaces.

  • Provide training to co-workers on effectively supporting colleagues dealing with addiction and mental health challenges.
